YourHomeCosts provides educational tools: a mortgage payment explainer, a full-payment calculator, a property-tax self-help organizer, and written guides. Using the site does not create a client, advisory, lending, insurance, agency, or legal-representation relationship. The appeal organizer promises no outcome.
Not professional advice
Results, flags, scores, and draft letters are estimates and explanations based on what you submit. They are not financial, tax, legal, lending, insurance, or appraisal advice. They are not a determination that a servicer, insurer, or assessor is wrong. Confirm figures on your own documents and with the office that issued them before you rely on them.
AI output
When a model is configured, its text is labeled AI-generated and can be wrong. The cushion, shortage, and payment math shown from your numbers is the calculation to check. A draft appeal letter is a self-help document, not legal representation, and it must be edited and filed on the form your assessor requires, before that office’s deadline. The site does not promise that an appeal, a servicer request, or a policy change will succeed.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to submit unlawful content or to probe or disrupt the service. Document upload is not offered. The $49 appeal packet mentioned on the tax page is not offered for sale. There is no checkout. A waitlist signup is not an order and does not create representation.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for a dispute that arises from these terms or the site lies in the state or federal courts located in West Virginia.
